Nov 19	Monday	Billing statement mailings for Spring 2008 begin. Payment of Spring 2008 charges begins. Students have through Dec. 14 to make payment arrangements and payment to prevent their schedules from being purged.
Dec 14	Friday	All payment arrangements due for those who pre-scheduled Nov. 2 - Nov. 16. After 4:30 p.m., schedules will be purged for non-payment.
Dec 21	Friday	All payment arrangements due for those who pre-scheduled Nov. 17 - Nov. 30.
Jan 4	Friday	All payment arrangements due for those who prescheduled Dec. 1 - 20.
		Late registration fee of $25 begins.
		Last day to file appeal to Academic Appeals Committee for academic status or readmission to Spring 2008 term.
Jan 5	Saturday	Those students scheduling after January 4 will not receive a billing notice. Payment is due January 14.
Jan 13	Sunday	Residential colleges open, 12:00 noon.
Jan 14	Monday	Classes begin on campus and off campus, including evening classes. Absences recorded. Payment due for those who scheduled Dec. 22 - Jan. 4. Payment must be posted and student enrolled to have Blackboard access.
Jan 16	Wednesday	Last day to enroll in any first half-semester course. Class participation required on or before this date if class has begun.
		Last day to drop any first half-semester course with no grade.
		Last day to change any first half-semester course from AUDIT to CREDIT.
Jan 18	Friday	Last day to enroll in any regular full-semester course. Class participation required on or before this date if class has begun.
		Last day to drop any full-semester course with no grade.
		Last day to change any full-semester course from AUDIT to CREDIT.
		Any class that begins after Jan. 18 must be added at the Registration Office, Sparks Hall. Letter from instructor required. Payment Required.
Jan 21	Monday	Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday
Feb 8	Friday	Last day to drop any first half-semester course. Student will receive a grade of "W" (no penalty).
		Last day to change any first half-semester course from CREDIT to AUDIT. Permission form must have full signature of course instructor.
		Last day to remove a grade of "X" received during last term enrolled. (See Undergraduate Bulletin.)
Feb 13	Wednesday	Last day to apply for review of residency classification for Spring 2008.
Feb 15	Friday	Master's degree applications for May 2008 due in Graduate Admissions.
Mar 3	Monday	Midterm grades due in Sparks Hall, Registration Office, 10:00 a.m.
		Associate and baccalaureate degree applications for August 2008 graduation due in Registrar's Office.
Mar 5	Wednesday	First half-semester courses end.
Mar 6	Thursday	Second half-semester courses begin.
Mar 10	Monday	Last day to enroll in any second half-semester course. Class participation required on or before this date if class has begun. Sparks Hall, 1st floor, Registration Office, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
		Last day to change any second half-semester course from AUDIT to CREDIT.
Mar 15	Saturday	Classes dismissed at Noon for Spring Break.
Mar 21	Friday	Priority deadline to submit application for admission in order to pre-schedule for Summer or Fall 2008.
Mar 24	Monday	Classes resume, 7:30 a.m.
Mar 28	Friday	Last day to drop any full-semester course. *RACER-TOUCH* drop, 2:00 a.m. - 4:50 p.m. Student will receive a grade of "W" (no penalty)
		Last day to change any full-semester course from CREDIT to AUDIT. Permission form must have full signature of course instructor and be submitted to Registration Office.
Mar 31	Monday	Students who officially withdraw from ALL classes from March 31 - April 25 will receive grades of "WP" or "WE", as assigned by instructors. The drop process is no longer available for full-semester courses.
Apr 2	Wednesday	Associate and baccalaureate degree applications for December 2008 graduation due in Registrar's Office.
Apr 4	Friday	Advance scheduling for Summer and Fall 2008 begins. *RACER-TOUCH* scheduling information will be listed in the Summer and Fall 2008 Schedule of Classes.
Apr 8	Tuesday	Last day to drop any course taught only in the second half-semester. Sparks Hall, 1st floor, Registration Office, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students will receive grade of "W" (no penalty).
		Last day to change any course taught only in the second half-semester from CREDIT to AUDIT. Permission form must have full signature of course instructor.
Apr 19	Saturday	Fall 2008 Summer Orientation I, new freshmen only. (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Apr 25	Friday	Last day to withdraw from ALL classes. If official withdrawal is completed March 31-April 25, "WP" and "WE" grades are assigned by instructors.
May 1	Thursday	Senior Breakfast for all seniors and graduate students graduating May 2008 or August 2008, Curris Center Ballroom.
May 2	Friday	Last day of classes. Last day to remove grade of "I" received during last term enrolled. (See Undergraduate Bulletin.)
May 3	Saturday	Final examinations begin. Grades due in Registration Office 48 hours after each examination with 10 a.m., Monday, May 12, the absolute deadline.
May 9	Friday	Final examinations end.
May 10	Saturday	Commencement, Regional Special Events Center, 10 a.m.
May 12	Monday	Grade rolls MUST be in Registration Office by 10 a.m.
May 13	Tuesday	Final grades are available on the student PIN.
