Instate Residency Information
One of the most
common questions we receive in the Admissions Services and Registrar's Offices is
"how can I be a Kentucky resident so I can pay in-state
tuition?" Murray State University is a state supported
university and therefore must charge different fees for resident and
non-resident students. All of Kentucky's institutions of higher
education are governed by the law described in this
document.
