Being a Nurse in the Army provides you with opportunities not found in the civilian world. This may include fees such as CPR certification, required immunization, liability insurance and any others required. The scholarship pays for your NCLEX study guide and the actual NCLEX itself. Once you are a Registered Nurse, then you will attend the Nurse Officer Basic Course where you will use what you have learned at Murray State and apply it to a military hospital. There are many opportunities to get into many different specialty areas as well.
