university scholarship office

rainey t. wellsMurray State University has numerous academic and leadership scholarship opportunities. To be considered, students must apply online every year. The deadline for application for all undergraduate (high school seniors, current college students, transfer students) and graduate students is February 1 each year.

Applications and information are now available online. Click Here to access the appropriate forms. High School students must either apply online or download an application from the Office of University Scholarships website. To be competitive, you should have a 25 ACT, leadership responsibilities, a strong, well-written essay, and be in the top 15% of your graduating class. College level work should be with a 3.0 GPA or better. Upperclassmen may access the online application.

2008-2009 Scholarship booklets will be available November 1, 2007.

Read and follow all directions very carefully. Scholarships are very competitive. If you do not follow directions or complete all requirements of the application process, you may be eliminated from the selection process.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying online, you can only apply once. If you apply more than once, it deletes your previous application. If you need to make changes, please email us at scholarship.office@murraystate.edu and we will make the changes for you.

Online applications are available by November 1 each year. Awards are generally made by April 1. Scholarship recipients will receive a written notification. May 1 is the National Scholarship Acknowledgement deadline.
