The best way to take in everything that is Murray State University is

to come visit us in person. You and your family will receive a student-guided tour of campus, information about admissions, financial aid, housing, student life and more.


Murray State University is home to over 10,000 students. As one of the nation's leading public universities, Murray attracts students who are seeking a great education in a personalized, college-town setting.  MSU offers many opportunities to get to know the campus, its ways and its people.


Visits begin in the Office of Recruitment in the Curris Center (map). Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in process. Keep in mind that Murray State University is in the Central Time Zone.


If visiting on a day that students are on campus is important to you, please keep the following dates in mind while scheduling your campus visit.


During the 2014-15 Academic Year


The university will be open on these dates; however, classes will be dismissed and there will be very few students on campus. It will be difficult to get any academic appointments.
