It's easy
While there aren't that many things that must be included in every MSU web page, here's a quick checklist with links to further information about each item.

Background color
There are presently two background colors used in most MSU web pages — white (#FFFFFF) and dark blue (#000033). The dark blue backgrounds will be phased out over time, leaving only white as the official MSU background color. Our web page template follows this convention.

If the backgrounds of your web pages are anything other than white or dark blue, please change them to white.

Top navigation bar
This navigation bar must be included on every MSU web page. More information.

Typefaces
Our official typefaces for MSU web pages are Arial and Verdana. You can download these fonts if you need them. Zurich Ultra Black Extended BT and Goudy Old Style are also official MSU fonts. Use of these two is optional.

But wait! There's a better way...
MSU Web Management is introducing a program called Macromedia Contribute which will make creating and maintaining your website much easier than ever before. Instead of going to the trouble describe above, you can just log on with Macromedia Contribute and a template with all the proper code is already online. All you have to do is fill in your content.
