The university's graphic identity guidelines apply to all Murray State-affiliated web pages.

Schools, colleges and departments are required to follow the templates set up by the Office of Web Management. Templates also have been designed for secondary pages, including those of academic departments.

All Murray State-affiliated web pages must include the "blue bar" or "white bar" navigational element at the top of the page.

Images and scripts appropriate for your website are also available.

"University graphics" is a broad category that includes logos, shields, typefaces, photography, illustrations and any other imagery intended to convey university identity. With so many diverse elements and agendas operating on campus, each going forward with its own imagery, it is easy for that identity to become fragmented. The message is weakened and ineffective.

With this in mind, we have developed a set of guidelines and library of official imagery for you to reference when creating your own publications.
