Women’s Health

Image of Three WomenThe latest data show that, overall, the morbidity of stroke (incidence and prevalence) is about equal for men and women. However, more than half of total stroke deaths occur in women.

At all ages, more women than men die of stroke.

One out of every two women and 1 in 8 men over age 50 will have an osteoporosis- related fracture in their lifetime.

More than half of all deaths between the ages of one and 65 result from stressful lifestyles. (U.S. Center  for Disease Control  statistics)
