Listed below is the Murray State University CPA pass rate report for all testing events from 2015 to 2017. The report also includes national and Kentucky CPA exam pass rates.

CPA Pass Rates 2015-17

Core Area: Nursing
The School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees. Advanced Practice Specialties include Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Nurse Anesthesia (NA).
Graduates of the BSN program sit for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) reports pass rates on the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) based on the first attempt only. The majority of those students who were not successful on the first attempt passed the exam on their second attempt.

**Unofficial pass rate 95% will be voted on at the next board meeting.

Graduates of the DNP program sit for the certification exam appropriate to their specialty area. FNP graduates are certified by either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Program, both of which are nationally recognized. Nurse Anesthesia graduates sit for the certification exam administered by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
