Racer Welcome Week Schedule

Location: Residential Colleges
Once you get your car unloaded, drive down to the Roy Stewart Stadium parking lot and park. Let our shuttle buses take you back to the residential hall.

Location: 2nd floor, Curris Center
You are now a Racer. You should be sporting your blue and gold, not your old high school t-shirt, and DEFINITELY not another university’s gear. Bring in breakfast food items or ready to eat meals to donate to our Murray State food pantry, Racers Helping Racers, and swap them out for your Racer swag (one per person while supplies last).

This is a time to welcome and celebrate you, parents and family! Drop in and enjoy light refreshments where you have the opportunity to connect with fellow Racer families.

Relax, recharge, and de-stress with certified therapy animals. Take a break from move-in and enjoy some calming time.

Unwind, create, and connect at our Paint & Sip Mocktail Party! Join fellow students for a relaxing evening filled with painting, mocktails and good vibes. All supplies are provided and no experience required!

MANDATORY for all NEW students. We will celebrate and prepare you for the next few years of college at our 10th Annual Blue & Gold Celebration. The guest speaker is Murray State University alumna, Dana Howard.

MANDATORY for all NEW students. Your first class! Meet with your 100T class during this time. Meet in the room and building where your 100T course will meet later this week (found on your class schedule), unless your professor has given you information to meet elsewhere. This is a required course meeting, so be sure to attend.

MANDATORY for all NEW students. Reconnect with your Racer Nation Orientation Leaders and other new students as the last part of your orientation experience! Make new friends, win prizes, and receive important information as you start your Racer Life! Get an introduction to home football gamedays, meet the coaches and director of athletics as we learn about and celebrate Murray State gameday traditions with the marching band, Racerettes, cheerleading and dance teams! Upon conclusion of the event, we will take a Class of 2029 picture on the field level M logo!
