EXPLORE MURRAY Business Information
On August 11th, Murray State University will welcome new students to campus! To help students familiarize themselves with their new home, the Center for Student Involvement is hosting the ever-popular EXPLORE MURRAY on Saturday, August 12th from 6–7:30 p.m. in the CFSB Center. EXPLORE MURRAY is an annual event that kicks off Great Beginnings, a series of activities/events that prepares students for life at Murray State. This is an excellent opportunity to promote your business, organization, or church for FREE!
EXPLORE MURRAY Format:
The event is a “trade show” format. Participants are grouped together based on type (i.e. banks, restaurants, churches). We highly recommend you bring printed material, such as brochures or coupons to give away. An alternative to giving away brochures/flyers is to post a flyer with a QR code directing students to social media, a drawing sign-up or a website. Giveaways, promotional items and product samples are encouraged! YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE.
What is Provided:
One (1) table (3’ X 6’) with TWO (2) chairs.
What is Not Provided/Not Allowed:
NO power provided.
NO tablecloth is furnished.
NO BALLOONS are allowed per CFSB Center policy.
All Participants Must:
Register in order to get a table. Those that aren’t registered will be turned away.
Set up between 3–5 p.m.
Staff table from 6–7:30 p.m. Table cannot be left unattended at any time.
