Minor in British Studies
The minor in British Studies provides opportunities for students to explore Britain and its culture and history from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The requirements listed below apply for students entering Murray State University at the present time. Criteria as they may relate to individual students may vary. See the Undergraduate Bulletin at the time of enrollment for more information.
British Studies Minor (21 hours)
Any seven courses from AGR 306; ENG 303, 304, 309, 314, 402, 403, 405, 406, 411, 418, 420, 427, 430, 436, 438, 439, 450; HIS 201, 304, 305, 313, 319, 332, 360, 410, 414; POL 451, 462; THD 346. Students must complete courses from at least two disciplines (i.e., ENG and HIS).
Other courses may be substituted as approved by the British Studies coordinator.
