Submitting a course to the program
All courses to be included in the new University Studies framework will be reviewed by the University Studies Committee, beginning in Spring 2021. This will be a two-year process, prioritizing courses that fulfill learning outcomes in the Human Experience category. Foundations courses will be reviewed in the following academic year. Below is a timeline for implementation:

To apply courses to the framework, departments should utilize the curriculum management system Kuali. The application pre-planning documents are below, along with the evaluation rubric and an extensive document about planning for assessment of learning for these courses. Additional documents needed include the official Academic Council-approved version of the syllabus and the Assessment Application.
