Special Project - Center for International Business and Trade

Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business

Murray State University and the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business are seeking partners in support of the newly established Center for International Business and Trade, located at Murray State’s regional campus in Paducah.  The vision for the center entails the partnering of businesses, government, and academia to provide opportunities and resources that support growth and drive innovation in global business and trade.

An important factor in the establishment of the Center for International Business and Trade was the recent designation of the Paducah McCracken County Riverport Authority as a Federal Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ).  This designation positions west Kentucky as a desirable place to grow and locate businesses in our region.

For University students, this center further advances and validates their career preparation experience through enhanced opportunities in business settings and will provide pathways to employment in global business and trade.    Your gift will help us launch this important academic and economic initiative that we hope will set an example for the industry and our nation.
