Learning about healthy behaviors, disease prevention and grant writing can help you improve other people’s quality of life. As a health educator, you can work in many settings and begin a rewarding career right after you graduate. Or, you can become a certified health education specialist (CHES) — a profession that will grow 13 percent by 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

You’ll get the chance to work in the field for an entire semester. Plus, you can learn even more by joining the Student Health Educators Association (SHEA).
