Public and Community Health - Minor

Do you live a healthy lifestyle? Do you want to help others do the same? You can make this a career! Choose the community health coordinator minor at Murray State. Learning about healthy behaviors, disease prevention and grant writing can help you improve other people’s quality of life. As a health educator, you can work in many settings and begin a rewarding career right after you graduate. Or, you can become a certified health education specialist (CHES) — a profession that will grow 13 percent by 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
