Powered Industrial Truck Operation
It is the policy of Murray State University, in conjunction with the Office of Environmental Safety and Health, to conduct initial and continuing, active and effective forklift training. Designed to convey and practice safe powered industrial truck standard operating procedures and protect employees from injury, training is required every three years for regular operators, and/or whenever an unsafe act or accident occurs. Training supports the guidelines and standard operating procedures sited in the Powered Industrial Truck Written and PowerPoint Computer Programs.
