Notes
Full-Time - Undergraduate students taking 12 or more hours per semester.
(1) *The following counties will receive the Kentucky Instate rate:
- Tennessee: Henry, Montgomery, Obion, Stewart, and Weakley Counties
- Illinois: Massac County
- Indiana: Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick Counties
(2) All online courses will have an additional $75 per credit hour online course fee.
(3) All non-online courses will have an additional Asset Preservation fee of $10 per credit hour charged which will be capped at 15 credit hours per semester.
(4) All non-online courses will have an additional Technology fee of $200 per semester for all students taking five or more credit hours.
(5) All non-online courses will have an additional Racer Experience fee of $150 per semester for all students taking five or more credit hours.
Tuition Rules
Tuition and Fees
Students enrolled in less than 12 hours will be assessed tuition and fees based on a per credit hour basis. Students enrolled in 12-15 hours will be assessed tuition and fees based on a flat rate. Students enrolled in more than 15 hours will be assessed the flat rate tuition for the 12-15 hours plus a per credit hour rate for each hour above 15 hours.
Tennessee Reciprocity Tuition
Per the KY Council on Postsecondary Education, eligible students from Henry, Obion, Stewart, and Weakley Counties will be assessed the same tuition rate as a Kentucky resident. Students from these four counties will be treated as Kentucky students in relation to admission requirements and housing/dining policies.
Illinois, Indiana, and Tennessee In-State Tuition
Students admitted from Massac County in Illinois, Posey, Vanderburgh, or Warrick Counties in Indiana, and Montgomery County in Tennessee will be charged out-of-state tuition and given a tuition discount to adjust their tuition. Students will be treated as Kentucky students in relation to admission requirements and housing/dining policies.
Regional Tuition
Residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia will be charged regional tuition and given a tuition discount to adjust their tuition.
