  • My favorite thing about Murray State: It has to be the community. I’ve lived all over the world, Iceland, Hawaii and Washington D.C. I left Murray in 1995 and came back because of the people.
  • My favorite place on campus: It has to be the quad. There are so many memories. I love to walk through now for my own memories and to watch others making their own.
  • My favorite thing to do off-campus: Athletic events, local eateries and lake life top the list. I’m never bored!

  • My favorite thing about Murray State: From the very first day stepping foot on campus as a high school senior, I felt at home. My favorite thing about Murray State is the atmosphere — no matter who you are, or where you are from, you are home now!
  • My favorite place on campus: Lovett Auditorium is a special place to me because not only is it a beautiful building with an extensive history, it is also where I proposed to my wife!
  • My favorite thing to do off-campus: When not on campus, you can find me completing projects around the house or spending time outdoors with my wife and our two dogs.
  • Advice for future Racers: When you arrive on campus, get involved! Student involvement not only gives you the opportunity to find your place on campus but will also ensure that you gain a well-rounded experience as a student preparing you for your next steps as a Murray State graduate! If you have questions, please reach out!
