Adolescent Career and Special Education:
This department offers a variety of programs leading to baccalaureate degrees in middle and secondary levels of teaching. We also offer degrees in special education, health and physical education, and career and technical education. There are graduate degrees in Middle, Secondary, Special Education and Career and Technical Education. All of our programs are CAEP accredited.

Center for Communication Disorders:
The Center is home to the Murray State University Speech and Hearing Clinic, the Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology and the undergraduate program in Communication Disorders.

Community Leadership and Human Services:
The department prepares professionals in areas of Criminal Justice, Recreation and Leisure Services, Social Work, and Nonprofit Leadership Studies. 

Early Childhood and Elementary Education:
The department offers baccalaureate degrees undergraduate and graduate degrees in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (birth through kindergarten) or in Elementary Education (kindergarten through fifth grade). Also offered is an endorsement in Environmental Education as well as a graduate degree in Reading and Writing.

Educational Studies, Leadership and Counseling:
The department offers graduate degrees and endorsements are divided into several program areas: School Administration; School Counseling; School Psychology; Individual Intellectual Assessment Endorsement;Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Human Development and Leadership; Library Media; Gifted and Talented; Postsecondary Education; and  EdD in P-20 & Community Leadership.  All of these school-related programs are NCATE accredited.
