Institute Overview
The Racer Leadership Institute (RLI) is a dynamic and engaging leadership development program designed specifically for college students who are eager to grow as leaders and individuals. Rooted in the values of integrity, service, and personal excellence, the institute offers a structured yet flexible framework for students to explore their leadership potential through experiential learning, self-reflection, and community engagement.
The program is open to students from all academic disciplines and is structured to meet participants where they are in their leadership journey—whether they are just beginning to explore their leadership identity or already hold leadership roles on campus.

Program Objectives
- Leadership Development: Equip students with practical leadership skills, including communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.

Application Process
Racer Leadership Institute applications are due by September 2nd at 4:30 p.m. through the Google Form.
All applications will be reviewed by a committee, and 20 students will be selected to be a member of this year's Racer Leadership Institute class. By applying you agree to be in attendance at the institute on the main campus and the following Zoom group discussions.
Insititute Timeline
The Racer Leadership Institute will take place in Murray, KY, from September 26th through 28th. This will include in-person instruction the evening of September 26th, entirety of the 27th, and morning of the 28th.
After the conclusion of the September in-person instruction, there will be three Zoom one hour group sessions throughout the remainder of the academic year. Staff will work diligently to schedule these Zoom sessions on dates that work best for the majority of the class.
