Murray State introduces new graduate certificate

MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University will offer a graduate certificate in communication and technology, available as a nine credit hour program within the Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership, beginning in the fall 2026 semester.
Through this certificate, graduate students will develop communication skills to effectively lead organizations in today’s evolving technological landscape. The nine hours required include courses in communication and technology, communication and remote work, and elective options in artificial intelligence applications in business, new technologies, communication ethics and more.

Bauernfeind College of Business. “As technology transforms our organizational experiences, effective communication is more critical than ever. This graduate certificate equips students with essential skills and knowledge to lead in an increasingly digital world.”
