Becky Nastally

I am interested in behavior analysis as it applies to the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and choice making in health behavior. More specifically in autism, some of the areas I have and continue to work in and focus on are starting and running a mental health practice guided by organizational behavior management (OBM) principles, assessing different levels and associated outcomes of intensity of ABA therapy for ASD, advocating to secure insurance funding for behavioral treatment, and determining the best standard for behavioral outcomes as they relate to autism. I also have a history of research in the area of behavioral addiction or ‘excess’ specifically in the topographies of pathological gambling and obesity.

Students aspiring to study or work in the above areas should feel encouraged to visit me in office hours or contact me through email. I am happy to provide advisement, information, and resources related to learning more about these areas of psychology.
