The Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) is a CAEP-accredited program which prepares our graduates to provide early intervention, care, and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten children with and without disabilities, and their families.

The Special Education Learning and Behavior Disorders Program (LBD) is a Bachelor of Science degree program that offers dual certification in special education/elementary education and special education/middle school.  This program will prepare you to become a certified special education teacher in primary through grade 12, certified in elementary education primary through grade 5, or certified in middle school education grades 5-9.

The Middle School Education Program is a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree program. The programs will prepare you to become a certified teacher for middle school students in grades 5-9 in two curriculum content areas (English/Communications, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies).

Are you looking for a flexible career path that allows you to grow both economically and professionally?  The Organizational Communication and Leadership program is designed for students looking to build the skills needed for their future career, as well as for the experienced professional looking to gain the skills necessary to advance their career. This program instills the intangible qualities that employers increasingly seek. Upon graduation, you will have gained exceptional knowledge and “real world” application in team building, conflict negotiation, organizational leadership, organizational hierarchy, managerial strategies, training and development, and persuasion techniques (sales). Students acquire skills for assessing communication problems, designing communication systems, and improving communication quality. Our program provides a versatile career path, while arming students with the essential skills every professional needs to excel in business, non-profit organizations, and a variety of management, marketing, sales, and human resource areas.

The Department of Community Leadership and Human Services offers a BSW where social workers display an informed passion to improve the quality of life for others, especially for vulnerable populations. The BSW degree program prepares students for professional entry level generalist practice in the social work profession, for entry level state licensure and for further education.

The Clinical Mental Health program is designed to prepare professional counselors to provide individual, group, marriage, couple, and family counseling in various settings. In addition to training students in the foundational areas of counseling , coursework for this program will provide training in advanced counseling skills and supervision, diagnostic techniques and treatment planning, research, addictions, and multicultural counseling.

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree program prepares students for leadership careers in public service organizations. Doctor of nursing practice in nurse anesthesia

The DNP program is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. Graduates of the DNP program will be able to serve as leaders who use best practices as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) at individual, population, and organizational levels.

The MSU-Madisonville Regional Campus is located on the campus of Madisonville Community College in the Steve Beshear Postsecondary Education Building, a new state-of-the-art facility. Our office is located in Room 215, and we are open 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  We follow Murray State University's holiday schedule, and all cancellation communication will come from the MSU Communication Office and can be found on the university website as well as posted to our campus Facebook page.
