The Clinical Mental Health program is designed to prepare professional counselors to provide individual, group, marriage, couple, and family counseling in various settings. Reading and writing

The M.A. degree program is designed to fulfill course requirements for Rank II classification (or for Rank I classification for those with a prior master’s degree) and to fulfill the requirements for the Literacy Specialist Endorsement P-12.  The Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board also requires candidates to pass the Praxis Reading Specialist Exam to receive the Literacy Specialist Endorsement.

Special education

The program offers dual certification in special education/elementary education and special education/middle school.  This program will prepare you to become a certified special education teacher in primary through grade 12, certified in elementary education primary through grade 5, or certified in middle school education grades 5-9. Telecommunications systems management

Kentucky’s only Program of Distinction of its kind and is one of few in the nation.  The program is offered online and students must complete ten graduate courses (30 credit hours) broken into 24 hours of required courses (8 courses) and six hours of electives (2 courses).

Where we're located

The MSU-Madisonville Regional Campus is located on the campus of Madisonville Community College, 2000 College Drive, Madisonville, Ky. Our office and classrooms are in the Steve Beshear Postsecondary Education Building, a new state-of-the-art facility. Our office is located in Room 215, and we are open 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and follow MCC's holiday and closure schedule.
