Vaccination Policies

Murray State University does not require any immunizations, or proof of vaccination, for admittance to the University. However, MSU students, especially those living in on-campus housing, are encouraged to talk with their primary care physician to discuss the pros and cons of receiving the Meningococcal Meningitis vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, and vaccines for other communicable diseases.

Please note that some degree programs in the School of Nursing and Health Professions require vaccinations or proof of immunity. More information on degree program-specific immunization policies can be obtained by contacting the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
