In 2009, I had just returned with my Racer’s soccer teammates after our first ever NCAA tournament appearance. We lost to Virginia Tech, and although it was a good game, I was sad that our season was over.
We met after a street dance by Hart Hall on September 9, 1969. We were introduced by fellow art major, Sherron, who was our maid-of-honor.
My husband, Dawson, and I both attend Murray state and chose the university together. We started dating in high school, and chose to continue our undergraduate careers as Racers, together.
Wayne and I met the spring of my freshman year in the snack bar at Hart Hall. A mutual good friend introduced us, and the rest is history...or fate.
