The Murray State Department of Art & Design offers a variety of degrees with a Studio Art Track. These degree options allow you to choose what works best for your educational and professional career goals. From general to specific, we have a studio art degree for you.
Bachelors of Arts & Science
If you want a more general education in studio art, we offer both a Bachelors of Arts (BA) and a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree. The University Studies courses for BA degrees focus on the arts and humanities and the BS on math and science. The BA and BS Art/Studio Art Tracks offer you a strong general education with a range of skills in a variety of studio areas as well as two advanced classes in one. Bachelors of Fine Art
If you are a high performing student and want a more focused education in studio art, we offer a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art/Studio Art Track degree. This BFA track offers students an in-depth education into a studio area of emphasis (listed below), focused feedback from a committee of faculty advisors, and a solo senior exhibition.
