Martha Layne Collins Industry & Technology Building
Renovations of the Cybersecurity Center
Our statewide Program of Distinction in Cybersecurity and Network Management will receive renovations of several spaces on the second floor of the Martha Layne Collins Industry & Technology Building to be used as classrooms, labs, research and meeting spaces. The project will enhance visibility, featuring open and modern spaces consistent with the industry. Also as part of the renovations, offices will be created along with a Zoom room for training and meetings. Funding for the $10 million project was allocated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Impact
The Cybersecurity and Network Management program continues to experience enrollment growth with interest in these high-demand careers, as graduates join a global network of alumni who are employed at Google, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services, among others.
