Wells Hall

Renovations for Wells Hall

As one of the historic buildings on campus, Wells Hall is receiving upgrades to mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment. This includes moving the building off of central steam with stand-alone hot water boilers for heating. Also included are stair tread replacements throughout the building, and repair to the building envelope in the form of masonry tuckpointing with moisture mitigation. The project is funded through the State Asset Preservation Pool from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Impact

Wells Hall was constructed in 1925 and is the third oldest building on campus. The 68,000 square foot building houses many entities, a few of which are the Office of the President, two Vice President Offices and the Psychology Department.
