Course descriptions

The Occupational Safety and Health Training Center (OSHTC) provides a Certificate of Training to each participant who successfully completes training. To register for a course a Course Registration Form should be completed and returned to the Training Center. Certain courses require an OSHA mandated medical examination and a letter of medical certification from each employer, which will be needed prior to course participation. Notification of this requirement, if applicable, will be provided upon registration. Course fees vary based upon the type of training and if the trainee is a student or industry. All resident courses are conducted in room 146 of the Martha Layne Collins Center for Industry and Technology at Murray State University. State-of-the-art equipment is used with emphasis on hands-on training. Maximum resident class size is normally 24. Customized training is also available for your organization and can be delivered at your worksite.
