SGA President's Reunion
83 years ago, just thirteen yeas after the founding of our beloved Alma Mater, Robert Cecil Gentry was elected as the first president of what would eventually become the Student Government Association. In the eight decades and 75,000 plus Murray State graduates that have followed, only 68 individuals have held this honorable distinction. Murray State invites all former Student Government Association Presidents to gather together on Saturday, October 19th for a time of fellowship. Save the date now as more information will be available soon.
Started in the 1970s by Hall of Fame Head Coach Johnny Reagan, the Baseball Alumni gathering has been one of the most consistent groups to return to campus for Homecoming each year. The reunion combines players from all eras and includes a small gathering Friday night to watch the current team’s inter squad scrimmage, Batting Practice on Saturday at 10:00 am followed by an alumni luncheon.
