Admissions

The requirements outlined below qualify applicants for consideration, but do not guarantee admission. Admission is granted on a competitive basis. Admission is not based on one factor, rather a combination of the applicant’s academic record and application materials.

Higher Education and Student Affairs - Admission
Requirements

• Application for admission to Murray State graduate school
•  The application can be completed using the PDF Application for admission to the Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs Degree Program. The application must be submitted with other required admissions documents (e.g. letters, writing samples). Letters can be sent directly to the Program Coordinator.
• Two writing samples detailed on the program application
• Three letters of recommendation
• Interview (if necessary)

Certificate Programs - Admission Requirements

• Application for admission to Murray State graduate school
•  The application can be completed  using the PDF Application for admission to Certificate Programs. The application must be submitted with other required admissions documents (e.g. letter of intent, resume).
• Letter of intent as instructed on the certificate application
• Current resume
