Steps for the Online Housing Application

  1. You must have a university issued M# (ID #) before you can begin the online application process. You will be issued an M# when you are admitted to the university.

  2. The online housing application is accessible through myGate. You will need to log into myGate to begin the process.

  3. After you have logged into myGate, click the navy blue tab at the top of the screen.

  4. The online housing application link is located at the bottom of the page on the right-hand side.

  5. Click the blue on-campus housing application link. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the CAS-SSO provider link.

  6. Click the yellow application tab at the top of the screen.

  7. You will be asked to pay the $150 housing deposit.

  8. Keep your M# handy - you'll be asked to use it multiple times.

  9. You may go back into the application to make any necessary changes (i.e., to request a specific roommate or to change building preferences) after you have begun the process.

  10. You may request one specific roommate on the application; however, in order to find a roommate to request within the system, the student you request as a roommate must have also started the online application.
