English and Reading KYOTE Exams
ENG 111 and Reading 112 KYOTE Testing
KYOTE testing gives students the opportunity to assess their basic skill proficiency in English Composition, Reading, and Math. KYOTE testing combined with high school GPA, advising sessions, and standardized test scores can help determine the best way the university can support students' path to success and the necessity for students to be placed in corequisite courses. The KYOTE test is optional. Students who do not wish to take the test will instead enroll in ENG 105, ENG 111, and REA 112 concurrently.
