SUBJECT: EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
APPLIES TO: STAFF AND FACULTY
EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 1993
REVISED FROM: February 17, 1990
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
If an employee senses that personal problems may be affecting job performance, he/she may take advantage of the Employee Assistance Program offered through the Counseling and Testing Center located in Ordway Hall. If a supervisor believes that an employee could benefit from this service, he/she may recommend that the employee avail himself/herself of this confidential service.
While the Counseling and Testing Center may not be able to assist everyone who comes for help due to lack of time, staff availability, or expertise, they will attempt to assist, either directly or through referral to other services, as many employees as possible.
